Waltham Forest Liberal Democrat candidates call for change on July 4th
As the General Election campaign comes to an end, Liberal Democrat candidates have said voters across Waltham Forest are “ready for change” and that they’re fighting for every vote.
The Liberal Democrats have been campaigning for action to tackle the cost of living crisis, the NHS crisis, rising crime and the sewage scandal.
The Liberal Democrats manifesto offers a bold and fully costed £9bn plan to tackle the health and care crisis, clean up sewage in our waterways, and put the economy back on track.
Liberal Democrat Parliamentary Candidate for Leyton & Wanstead, Tara Copeland said:
"Throughout this election I have spoken to hundreds of people across Leyton & Wanstead and one thing is clear - people are fed up with the Conservatives at Westminster, fed up with Labour at City Hall and the Town Hall, and are ready for change."
Liberal Democrat Parliamentary Candidate for Walthamstow, Rebecca Taylor said:
"Local health services have been brought to their knees, people’s mortgages and rents have skyrocketed and water companies have been allowed to pump their filthy sewage into our rivers and beaches."
Liberal Democrat Parliamentary Candidate for Chingford & Woodford Green, Josh Hadley said:
"While the Conservatives and Labour are distracted by their internal conflicts, every vote for the Liberal Democrats at this election is a vote to elect a strong local champion who will fight every day for our NHS, our environment, and our communities."
