Local residents have been hit with the news that the down escalator at Blackhorse Road will be out of action until July.
On top of that, the lifts at Walthamstow Central are unreliable and due for replacement in May. This leaves those with mobility issues, buggy users, and those with heavy luggage without access to either of Walthamstow's tube stations.
These essential maintenance works should have been better-coordinated by TFL.
