If you live near Durban Road, you may have noticed a significant number of potholes on the approach to Billet Road.

The issue affects much of the ward and despite us highlighting it on previous occasions, the problem appears to be getting worse. We recently reported a paving slab defect on Higham Hill Road, an exposed pipe on Carlton Road, and a litany of potholes on Sutton Road, Warwick Road, Oakfield Road and Priors Croft.

Higham Hill Liberal Democrat campaigner Alan Jones said, “It's worrying how bad some of our roads have become. Residents deserve far better than this.”
