Hope for a Lasting Peace in Gaza

The Liberal Democrats continue to call for a two state solution to be fully implemented and the borders restored to the agreed 1967 borders.
Local Liberal Democrat campaigner Afzal Choudhry said, “We welcome the ceasefire in Gaza and the first steps towards peace that have taken place.”
“I hope that the hostage and prisoner releases continue, as well as the flow of humanitarian aid. We also need to begin the vital reconstruction of Gaza.”
