City Airport - Have Your Say

22 Aug 2022

London City Airport is once again consulting on increasing the hours it is allowed to operate flights.

The proposals include extending operating hours on a Saturday as late as 10pm, resulting in as-many-as 45 flights per hour on Saturday afternoons, as well as doubling the number of flights before 7am on weekdays from six to twelve.

Waltham Forest Liberal Democrat spokesperson for the environment Josh Hadley said, “In 2019 community pressure forced City Airport to reverse plans to increase it’s annual limit on flights. If you have views of these latest proposals do make sure to participate in the consultation because you can make a difference.”

The consultation runs until 9 September and you can take part by visiting the website consultation.londoncityairport.com
